Shipping to the majority of American and Canadian Destinations is billed at a flat rate of $10 for orders below $10 before tax, $5 for orders totaling less than $100 before tax and shipping is free on orders over $100 (all in the respective currency of the transaction).

For orders to Hawaii, and the Canadian Territories, orders can be arranged by email, and will be charged as quoted by the customer’s requested shipping provider.

-Another website told me not to be fooled by cheap imitations and that they only sell N45 magnets. Why do you sell only inferior N35s?

Orders of Magnetude is a relatively small company, so the choice of grade had to be consistent in order to purchase stock at a price below that of the competition. When deciding on whether to choose N35, N52 or something inbetween, we calculated the cost to the customer relative to the strength of the magnet. The difference in strength of neodymium magnets when going from N35 to N42, all things being equal, is about 20%. The cost, however, is much more than 20%. It’s actually closer to 40%. So there is diminishing returns on an increase in N value. So the best value to strength is in buying N35 magnets.

We will eventually carry N52, as some applications are suited to the higher strength, even higher price, magnets.

However, if you need magnets to act with a specific coercive strength, you are almost always going to be better off buying two N35 magnets than you would be buying a single N52, as many applications necessitate even distribution of magnetic force, rather than a single concentrated one.
